Sue Spielberg

Sue graduated with honours from the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew as top student of her year. After leaving Kew, she spent two years as Technical Editor at The Gardener Magazine before becoming a freelance horticultural writer and consultant. She has written and published several books for the National Trust, including ‘Green Gardening’, ‘Pots and Containers’, ‘Wall Shrubs and Climbers’. She has continued her writing and freelance consultancy since joining Portus + Whitton in 2003, where her designs for borders and planting schemes are much in demand.
