Portus + Whitton Landscape Architects (P+W) has been established in Gloucestershire since 1984. Our company is made up of four Directors and a small team of qualified, skilled Landscape Architects, specialising in landscape research; design, CAD, contract administration and the conservation and restoration of historic landscapes.
Portus + Whitton are driven by a passion for landscape and garden design.
Our Projects
We believe that our strength lies in identifying the essential character and potential of each site, and in working closely with the client, consultants and other interested bodies in developing imaginative and practical ideas within the identified parameters.
The practice has a wide range of expertise including: masterplanning (major care village and residential projects in the countryside); landscape character and visual impact assessments; planning inquiries; historic projects in sensitive landscape; education projects including new academic buildings with listed elements; garden design; urban marketplace re-generation and tourism related work in the countryside.
