A range of projects which included new parking, roof terraces and courtyard gardens. Although within the domain of the hospital, the area is fully open to the public and needed to be designed to create a strong sense of place and for robust use.
The photographs show the gardens adjacent to the main entrance and were designed to form a striking contrast of colour and material. The benches were formed with solid rectilinear granite blocks which formed extremely durable seating, as well as sculptural focal points.
