Portus + Whitton have been involved over many years in the development of LFO as an internationally respected ‘Country House’ opera venue in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This started with the conversion of a cattle shed into a small concert hall, and more recently to a full-sized opera house with a theatrical classical façade. Both buildings, plus ancillary buildings including temples and follies in the new park, were designed by P+W, who also obtained all the planning permissions. P+W have designed the landscaped park and terraced gardens, and are retained to develop new ideas for the future
