Iona Hilleary

Iona joined Portus and Whitton in 2014. Her 15 years’ previous experience in the design of private gardens across the UK for her own practice has given her both a creative and hands-on understanding of hard and soft landscape design as well as its application from the initial concept through to detail. Iona’s time since joining Portus and Whitton has consolidated these skills, and added the experience of working with other disciplines, the preparation of contract information, and the supervision of work onsite. Iona’s skills as a good communicator are combined with her natural flair for design and creativity with plants to provide a strong aesthetic approach to both private and commercial projects.
