Charlie is currently part of the Portus + Whitton team while studying Landscape Architecture at the University of Gloucestershire. With a background in carpentry and landscape gardening, he brings strong practical knowledge to his design work and is developing his career towards a more design-led role.
He has contributed to a diverse range of projects, including private garden schemes, as well as hotel, leisure and care village landscapes. Throughout these projects, Charlie has been encouraged to engage with multiple stages of the design process, producing sections, construction details, visualisations, detailed masterplans and planting plans.
Charlie has a particular interest in small-scale garden design, working with clients and the team to realise their vision, as well as larger scale schemes focused on sustainability and ecology.
